"A Sabbath elevator is an elevator which works in a special mode, stopping automatically on every floor, to allow for the Jewish law for abstaining from using electricity on Shabbat. An elevator may be marked with a sign noting that it is specially configured for Shabbat observance. In this mode, an elevator will stop automatically at every floor, allowing people to step in and out without having to press any buttons. Otherwise it is prohibited to use an elevator on Shabbat because pressing the button to operate the elevator closes a circuit, which violates the prohibition of activating electricity on Shabbat, and may also indirectly lead to "writing" of the new floor number in the display."

Oscar, Eyal, and Shimon, all close friends of Sde-Or (Lichtenfeld), the founder of Krav Maga. Oscar is an 80 year old Holocaust survivor, one of 285 people to survive a death march that started with ~4000 people. He was 15 or 16 and has been training in Krav Maga for basically as long as it has been around. Eyal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyal_Yanilov) is one of the two highest-ranked Krav Maga practitioners and was mentored by Imi since the age of 25 or so. Shimon has also been practicing Krav Maga for decades. He still lives on the same kibbutz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibbutz) where he was born.
