i went to laura's house to sleepover during my bday weekend. she surprised me by having a fun birthday activity! first activity, put pictures from our past 10 years of friendship in chronological order.
the pictures i had to put in chronological order with the prize in the back
a girl couldnt ask for better friends
friendship timeline
even laura had to cheat and look up the answers!
jen had to help me. all the memory-related genes went to her...
thinking hard
i had punishments for needing help/getting hints. 1st punishment = dancing for 30 seconds. 2nd = singing for 1 minute. 3rd = the running man (which laura had to show me how to do). if these videos get out...im going to become a murderer!!!
when all the pictures were in order, there was a poem on the back! July twenty sixth two thousand and nine, you’re 24 years old and doing just fine. Who would’ve thought, a dozen years later, we’d still be friends and not playa haters, From braces and C-Clubs, and always being cool, I’m thankful you’re a lifeguard whenever I’m in the pool, You’re a sister, a dork, and of course my soul mate, the contest is clear: I’m cooler, sorry, too late! I hope this activity didn’t take too long, too many years and memories on and on, So in this next year as you turn twenty four, I wish you memories upon memories more and more. Now get ready for an adventure full of mystery, take your parrot & your first mate to make birthday history
my prize for completing the timeline was a cool treasure map
and then she turned us into pirates...grrrrrr
i had to take the treasure chest tattoo off my face for the wedding :( jeff's sister has the coolest friends, huh?
sweet, i found my first treasure!
thx for the gum :p
using my handy treasure map to find the rest of my treasures
hunting
my 2nd treasure was in the vineyard!
my 3rd treasure was a fun corkboard for my new place!
eek, my 4th treasure was in the dragon lair...the dragon is sniffing me.
to get my last treasure, i had to dive for 24 gold coins which i could exchange for my last treasure. here i go...
the pool lights were broken so jen had to shine flashlights for me to see
i kept telling laura that i couldnt find ANYTHING at the bottom of the pool but she kept insisting that they were there. after many dives and many breaths of air, we discovered where the precious gold coins went...
the freaking pool cleaner had eaten my gold coins!!!
my final present, thanks so much and i love love love it!
we're never going to grow up
