Daddy and Ella reading
Yes, Ella is really asleep like this. It scared me at first, then Metti told me that she sleeps like this every day. Weird kid.
Sound asleep
Coloring on the sidewalk
I caught her in the middle of a song.
Precious face!
Like mother, like daughter.
Joe reading to Ella and Ellie
Ellie Tavani
Yeah, so our daughters are named Ella and Ellie and they have the same rare disease, but what are the chances that we'd also have the same couch? The only difference is ours is red.
Ella wouldn't look up, so Ellie was checking out what Ella was looking at.
Getting ready to go to World of Coke
Coke and the Olympic Torch's
The Coke bear kind of freaked Ella out.

Before Ella's first haircut
I hated to do it, but it was time. This was just ridiculous.
After her first haircut. It's not too bad for my first toddler haircut. A bit uneven, but it could be worse.
The front...although I did have to trim it up more the next day.
Going to the park
Clemyjontri Park is a park especially for kids with disabilities, so they have toys that are easily accessible and wheelchair accessible.
These are big choo choos, which of course were her favorite.
Driving the choo choo
This was her favorite
See, even the jungle gym is wheelchair accessible.
Checking out the planets

What the Easter Bunny left me.
Chocolate ice cream and a banana for breakfast...it really must be a holiday.
1st attempt at the MurrGrubbs picture. All of the girls were tires and on the verge of a meltdown, so rather than wait in line for the flower cross, we took the picture in front of the minivan. Nice.
You can't tell, but all three girls were wearing the exact same sweater.
Happy Easter!
My sweet girl!
Putting up her Easter stickers from Grammy.
Going on a walk with daddy
She was getting impatient waiting for Joe to get the stroller out of the car.
Off they go
The monkey freaked Ella out.
This is the pig from Super Why
The Cat in the Hat...I thought Ella would be so excited since she asked for green eggs for breakfast, "just like Dr. Seuss." She wasn't excited.
And there it is, the White House.
Ella blocking the sun from her face.
Picture #1 of all the people
Picture #2 of all the people...there were a lot of people!
The First Family...I felt bad for Sasha and Malia because I know they would have rather been down playing all the games and not in the house.
This is Amber Riley (she plays Mercedes on Glee) singing the National Anthem.
Yo Gabba Gabba...I thought Ella would be so excited to see them but again, she wasn't.
Wonder Red, also from Super Why

This was Ella about 2 minutes after we got in the car. The poor girl was completely tuckered out.
Having Sunday lunch outside.
Precious little face!
Checking things out.
Going down the slide...crooked bow and all.
Ella's new favorite past-time is painting. She started off small with a Dora paint book and some water colors.
It was freezing outside but Ella insisted on sitting on the patio. We wrapped her in her Elvis blanket and there she sat.
Another cold day where Ella wanted to sit outside. This time wrapped in her new froggie blanket that was made for her.
This is the prayer blanket that was made for Ella. She was eating yogurt and it's all over her lips.
More painting
She has now upgraded to the big easel.
On our trip to Ikea Ella got a new smock and new paints, so this is how she now spends all of her time.

Needless to say, they got EVERYWHERE! She took off her glasses because they were coated in prunes too.
