Ben and I treated to hot pot by our students and teacing assistant for our last day of class. The food was all pretty normal, and the spices didn't bother me much. I just wish that it would have had a bit more flavor to it, but still a very fun experience.

A typical meal for tourists visiting the Grand Buddha in Leshan. The food was aweful. Thank goodness for rice and the knowledge that we'd be eating delicious Chengdu Chinese food soon enough.

2007 07-17 Trek to Pete's

Just some shots on our way walking/jogging/running from the tailor's to Pete's Tex-Mex. It was rush hour time and we couldn't get a cab for anything, and then it started raining, and, well, we started running. It must have been a two, probably three mile hike to Pete's.
