This photo pretty much characterizes our two weeks -always a houseful!
Delormes in the kitchen...
...some willing, some not-so-much so.
Crafty stuff on the back patio
But there was still time for some fun, checking out Key West sites...
...
...and characters...
Make some noise...
Make a wish!!
And just hang out.
Kid Brother checking out local transport...
Travis and his ducklings.
This little duckling tipped over!
Travis had jellyfish itchies for days.
Back at the ranch, there was still plenty to be done. This is the old sail from our Caribbean trip. We were going to cut it up to print out programs on. Unfortunately, the printer would only spit out a few legible ones.
This is the best way to clean a sail, by the way (a little professional tip!).
And STILL more cooking!!
When Travis' family arrived, we put them to work, too!
The making of the guestbook.
There was fatigue...
There was frustration...
There was downright exhaustion!
But there was always good food...
Plenty of drinks...
And new friends to be made...
And every RARE once in awhile, a bit of relaxation...
...!
When even more friends and family had arrived, we had a BBQ at our marina.
The family checked out our digs.
Even brown dogs were invited.
Master Chef Travis
I wish I could remember what was so funny!
