We drove to Dumfries, Virgina to visit Bill & Maureen and they traveled with us to Washington, DC to give us a tour of the nation's capitol.

...and the Smithsonian Castle. I didn't realize that the Smithsonian is not just one building. It's actually an organization made up of 19 museums (2 of which are in NYC), 9 research complexes and the National Zoo. It also has many affiliate museums across the country and traveling exhibitions.
