Ye olde Farm House on the homestead established by my great grandpa in 1905. It has housed 4 generations of my family. Now it houses only raccoons!
Nobody has lived here for 10 years, so the yard is pretty grown over.
Remnants of the barn in the background -it was moved
The road allowance I drove up and down before I was legal to do so! I learned to drive when I was 9.
The lake is so dry you can see the alkali blowing off it.
My old play place. I remember some springs the runoff was so high it was nearly to the top of this culvert.
I skinned many a knee in here.

Nobody believes me when I tell them that the parts of me that aren't tanned are as white as my English mother. She actually does have a bit of a tan, here. Not so for my brother's legs!
Castle Mountain, on the old #1 highway between Banff and Lake Louise, Canadian Rockies
Dad went nuts for the wildlife, and it was a hoot for Travis, too.
Lake Louise -the glacier is much smaller than when I last saw it.
Nearby Moraine Lake, one of my favourite spots on the planet.
The first time I saw it, I couldn't believe the colour of the water. Did someone drop a bottle of dye in here?

Looks like Mom is nervous about the drop off below!
This was a bit dangerous, really. The ice could fall at any time.
So why not climb in?!
Ribs and all, it looked like the storybook inside of a whale's belly!
This giant slab was shifting while we were there.
Paddling our way through the 'bergs.
We had to move this one out of the way, and it shifted and rolled over completely.
