Punky Professional Atlantic Blue dyed over the faded Lagoon Blue. August 2004.

My dad insisted I dyed it a natural color before I left for school... terrible mistake! It turned out horribly so I cut it all off. Shocking! Late August 2004.

I dyed Punky Color Plum over the mess and it actually turned out quite well. October 2004.

Bleached and dyed Punky Color Rose Red. December 2004.

I dyed Punky Professional Pillarbox Red over the still strong Rose Red. February 2005.

It eventually faded back to this color. May 2005.

I found some outdated Punky Gelle in Sea Green so I tried that out. It faded pretty quick. January 2006.

I dyed over that with a combination of Manic Panic After Midnight Blue and Manic Panic Atomic Turquoise. January 2006

After it faded I dyed over it again with the same combination. February 2006.

It faded to this color, which is when I decided to let my friend cut off all the dead parts. March 2006.

Newly bleached and dyed Manic Panic Cotton Candy Pink. It was patchy and faded quickly. How disappointing.. March 2006.

After I got sick of the fading I dyed over it with Special Effects Hi-Octane Orange. Crazy bright! March 2006.

The orange faded to a really neon color, then I dyed over it with Special Effects Cherry Bomb. I was hoping it would turn out pinker, but it turned out a bright red with pink undertones. April 2006.

It eventually faded to this sort of coral color, a kind of combo of the orange and Cherry Bomb. June 2006.

It faded relatively quickly to a kind of weird peachy blondy pink which I wasn't too crazy about. January 2007.

After the Atomic Pink faded I dyed over it with Special Effects Deep Purple. February 2007.

The Deep Purple faded to this really pretty pinky-purple color. St Paddies Day (March) 2007.

I re-Deep Purpled the back and put some Atomic Pink over the front, not knowing how it would turn out. Luckily it turned out awesomely! March 2007.

The headband. The blue is Blue Haired Freak, Fishbowl and conditioner, and the pink is Cupcake Pink, Atomic Pink and conditioner. May 2007.

Headband, you faded quite disappointingly. May 2007. I went over the faded blue with un-cut Blue Haired Freak, but it faded similarly (no pictures, though).

After the headband faded a little more I dyed over the whole mess with Special Effects Cherry Bomb. June 2007.

Thanks to a whole lotta sunshine, my cherry bomb faded to this pinky color. June 2007.

I found Punky Professional for sale on angryyoungandpoor.com, so I got a haircut, bleached everything, and dyed my hair Punky Pro Atlantic Blue (the same color I had in August 2004). August 2007.

Even after 2 months, the blue was still definitely blue, not ugly green. Way to go, Punky Color! October 2007.

As much as I loved the blue, I can't stay one color for that long... I found some Schwartzkopf dye in Rossman's (in Budapest) that was supposed to be really dark purple. But I left it on a little too long and it turned black... Still looks good, though! October 2007.

The previous color didn't cover the blue completely, so when I got home I tried dying everything with Féria in Cardinal, but it only dyed my roots and left the ends blackish blue still. Weird. December 2007.

I bleached the awkwardness, only to discover that it was still a little blue at the tips. Whatever. I mixed up some Atomic Pink, some Cupcake Pink, some Cherry Bomb and some conditioner, slapped it all in my hair and was left with this fantastic pink mess. It's orangey-pink near the roots, really bright wonderful pink in the middle, kind of fuschia/purply at the ends... it doesn't even know what the hell is up. January 2008.
