Antler Necklace~ Made from a single two-point deer antler, this pendant is hung on a hand- coiled brass wire ring secured with copper wire, then finished with a bone bead and suspended from a brown braided cord. From the stone to the antler tip, it measures 10" in overall length, the width is approximately 4 1/2" from tip to tip.

Red-eyed bird Necklace~ Measuring 4" wide x 6" high, the pendant is hung on a navy waxed linen cord. The piece of wood was collected during a walk on a logging road near our house in Oregon, the feather is from a neighbor's Guinea Fowl flock, the shells are abalone, and the eye is a glass bead. The other beads are made of bone.

Hoyouwerlikt Necklace~ I named it 'Hoyouwerlikt' because it means 'nice necklace' and it's impossible to pronounce (ho yo oo wer likt, in case you were wondering) and who names necklaces anyway? The elk hair was collected on a walk in the woods near our house and is secured within a .22 shell casing found on the same walk. The fir round is from fallen branches in our yard, sanded to a buttery smoothness. It measures about 5" long, the fir round is 2 1/2" wide. It has two jade beads and two smaller turquoise beads.

Fetish totem Necklace~ The elk hair was found stuck on a blackberry thorn during a walk in the woods near our house in Oregon. The hair is secured in a .22 shell casing found on the same walk. The antler was from our collection of found objects. This is an original work of art that can be displayed (it's hanging over our dining table right now) when not being worn. It measures approximately 4-4 1/2" in length.

Limpet Shell and Abalone Necklace~ This began with a silvery piece of wood I found on a walk in the woods near our house in Oregon. It inhabited our found objects table for weeks as I tried this and that to complete a little sculpture with it. Eventually, an sea theme emerged and I finished it with abalone shells, a limpet shell, and fishing tackle for findings. Hung on a natural linen cord, the piece measures approximately 4" wide and 3" high overall.

Fish collage necklace~This necklace began with a shell and a piece of wood found on a walk in the woods near our house in Oregon. The image suggested a fish, so the findings were assembled from fishing tackle parts and the piece was embellished with turquoise beads, lead weights, a bone bead, and a duck feather. This pendant is an original work of art that you can hang up on a wall or wear as jewelry. Approximate dimensions are 6" x 3", it is hung with a natural linen cord.

Red Heart Bird~ A tiny piece of blood red felt tucked into a small hole in the wood fragment suggests a heart. Overall, the image created in this found object sculpture resembles a bird to me, but you may find your own image within. It began with a wonderful piece of wood, found on a walk in the woods near our house in Oregon. It sat on our table of found objects for weeks while we played with different arrangements and materials. We are delighted with this final composition of wood, feather, copper, bone, brass, lead, and fir. It measures 9" x 2 1/2" overall. It may be hung on the wall when not being worn, it has a great presence all by itself.

Circles Necklace 8" x 10" Loose and whimsical, the decoration on these handmade porcelain shapes is applied using a slip-trailer. The process creates a slightly raised line that adds texture to the piece. It is glazed with a clear glaze and connected with handmade metal links.
