2008-09-19 Lincoln City Birthday Adventure
My Wonderful, Romantic, thoughtful, loving husband gifted me a weekend getaway to Lincoln City Or, for my birthday. We drove down on Friday, stopping for many photos. We saw the " Ghost Trees" at Sunset, in Neskawoin, Or. " High winds, heavy rain and powerful surf pounding the Oregon Coast recently. The ancient tree stumps are usually covered in deep sand.”
We went to the Newport Bay marina and visited local sea lions that have their own "birth" at the fishing Guide dock.
We went on a 4 hour guided fishing trip out of Newport Beach, where we both limited and I caught the " bonus fish" a Ling cod, I later found out was the only carcass the Harbor Seals would eat...I had the privilege of feeding my fish carcass to the waiting Seal. The seal spun in circles for me, then daintily took her treat!...what a bonus!
