We're off! This is the road to Spencer. The hills are starting to have more and more color. It was a perfect fall day.
You turn off the main road onto this road
Then through the woods (and a couple of creeks) on the gravel road
We're here! The fenced pasture is at the bottom of the hill below the house. These are the Cotswold sheep and in the background is Jack the Donkey
Annabelle!
We parked near the sheep then the "valet" drove us up the driveway to the house. We were greeted by two of the sweetest dogs ever, Coco and Boomer. I heart them!!
And there's Suzanne!
I wish I had a front yard like this
From the front porch over on the other side, the goat house and the chicken house
There's my friend CZ and her niece! Yay! That's 52 going in the door of the house.
Boomer is sooooooo sweet.
You're sweet too Coco!
Me with Suzanne
It's cookie time! There are Clover and Nutmeg (Nygerian Dwarf Goats) and Pocahontas (miniature donkey) lining up at the fence.
OMG.... is it???? Yes.... it's MEAN ROOSTER!
Sprite & Fanta, the fainting goats. They are soooo tiny - look at how big the chicken is next to them! I want some!
I want some like Cover and Nutmeg too! They loooooove cookies.
The Chicken Whisperer
This goat was just visiting - it was there for a milking demonstration
No, we can't have fried chicken for dinner!
Time to go home
This goat lives down the road from us. He sleeps in a dog house! He's twice the size of Clover and Nutmeg. Maybe I should take him some cookies.
