Winter Weatherization Workshops (2012)
Winter weatherization workshops for students living off-campus, taught by Bill Brown and Jacqui Bauer, provided participants with the basic knowledge and skills to be able to perform simple weatherization techniques at their own residences. Workshop participants were provided with a weatherization kit to take home with them which included weather stripping, rope caulk, outlet plate insulators, and pipe insulation. Funding for the workshops was provided by IUSA, through a partnership of the IU Office of Sustainability and the student group, Volunteers in Susatinability.
The workshops were held at E-House, the newly opened offices of the Office of Sustainability, in late January and early February of 2012.
