Downtown Vancouver
Hostel where we stayed the first 2 weeks. Jericho Beach. I took this on our last day there just as we were leaving. Sorry about crap quality - still trying to figure out how to use settings on camera.

First night in our new house (the colby's). Anna bought a cake to celebrate.

Our house (the colby's). We lived in the top 2 floors. thats are balcony with bbq to the right.
BC Place. We saw BC Lions play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Lions won 22-18. It was a good game. There are props infront of where we were sitting because we were right beside "BC Ferry's 'Captains Deck'". Everytime the lions scored the cameras showed the fans in the captains deck, and because I was sitting beside there I appeared on the JumboTron loads of times!
Roof is inflated. I think in 06 or early in 07 there was a storm and the roof collapsed. They had to deflate it and apperently took them a couple of months to fix. Also, the astroturf pitch was bought of the montreal olympic stadium.
Ed and Derek - those are 2 of the guys we worked with. I worked on-site with both of them quite a lot and they were really sound guys. I didn't really see them again after that night because we got "laid off" a couple days later.
I think this is the night of the release of the new harry potter book. Ash and manzy got wasted, dressed up, and went to a harry potter party at the local bookshop.

the seattle center, a kinda park built for the world fair that seattle hosted. its got the space needle and music experience project in it.

Seattle - not that nice.
Seattle Seahawks Stadium. Behind it you can see where the Seattle Mariners play. The stadiums look really similar, upclose the mariners stadium is really impressive. I wasn't inside either though.

These are houseboats owned by really rich people. They're not very big but they're apparently big for houseboats. the houseboat that tom cruise lived on in sleepless in seattle is on this lake, but not in these pictures. we didnt get close enough to it.
This was quite an amazing sports restaurant. each table had its own tv and the food was the best i had on that whole holiday.

News being broadcast from the PNE. While anna and I were watching this for a few minutes, we saw a report that a 20 year old Irish girl fell from the exact same zip line place as we went to the very day after we were there! freaky! she fell 50ft and broke both her ankles. she was lucky, she could have easily died!
