The Nottoway Plantation. Obvious to a home inspector, some of the flashing and roof details have deteriorated severely and need maintenance and repair.
Ninth Ward. This home, like thousands of others, still sits in the same state of destruction due to Katrina, which hit August 29, 2005. This photo was taken mid January, 2008.

Lighthouse. We were in Key West six months after Hurricane Katrina and Rita hit. The town had recovered, for the most part, however the palm trees were damaged severely.
The Nottoway Plantation House, one of the largest antebellum plantation houses in the south, is composed of 64 rooms, 7 staircases, and 5 galleries. This 53,000-square foot plantation home, constructed by John Hampden Randolph in 1858, is a fine example of an antebellum home.
Outside plumbing stacks are evident in this Victorian home in Key West.
