As we started on our trip to Minnewaska for a hike we saw smoke in the distance
As we got closer the smoke was heaver and in the direction of Minnewaska

We got to the 44/55 & 299 junction - the road to Minnewaska was closed due to a forest fire
We decided to go to Sam's Point we saw this building on the way in the foothill of Schawangunk mts
no idea who lives there but it has been fixed-up
after we found Sam's point closed from the fire too we went on to Ellenville
