200912 Singapore and Langkawi
Charity and I spent a few days in Xmas holiday at Langkawi, Malaysia. We booked the hotel and air ticket at the last minute. We traveled around Langkawi, enjoyed the beautiful beach, food. I know the suspension bridge for long time. but I did not know the bridge which is an engineering master piece is located at Langkawi. We stayed in Sheraton Hotel. The xmas food was good, but could not be called as fantastic. There is a restaurant “Tapaz” at Perdana Quay, Langkawi which serving nice food. The Spanish rice was very delicious. You shall have a try next time when you are there. The lamb and fish cooked were not so good. There are a few fine restaurants at Perdana Quay, Langkawe.
How to get there?
Taxi from Langkawe airport to Hotel cost MYR 18-24.
Taxi from Hotel to Perdana cost MYR 18. The fair depends on the distance, but will not be higher, normal is MYR 18.
