Alumnus and Director of The School of Hospitality Business Receives Hotel Industry Award
The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI) honored eight Certified Hotel Administrators (CHA) with “Emeritus” status during a breakfast “Celebration of Excellence” in New York City on Monday, November 10. Dr. Ronald F. Cichy, an MSU alumnus (BA ’72, MBA ’77) and the director of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University, was one of the eight individuals honored for having earned EI's CHA distinction over 25 years ago, recertifying over the years, and maintaining its high professional standards. Dr. Cichy is one of just three educators in the group of 25 CHA emeriti.
