HMS Connections Showcase07
After enjoying Cold Stone ice cream and tunes of the 50's decade, HMS parents and students were treated to performances by representatives of the HMS Band, Chorus, and Orchestra programs as part of the Connections showcase. Representing the band were a percussion trio (Eighth graders Kim Iannacone, Caroline Spencer, and Danny Troke) and a clarinet quartet (Eighth graders Jessie Moore and Tommy Ng, and seventh graders Peter Choi and John Simpson). The percussion ensemble performed a chorale arrangement of "Chester," by William Schuman, while the clarinet ensemble performed Charles Gounod's "Funeral March of a Marionette (aka, The Alfred Hitchcock Theme)".
