George!
I really liked working with the fish scale pattern.
I also really like dots and the blue and white pitcher vessel bead just came out better than i expected.
The Green one was my first run at a hollow bead. The clear one on the end is made witha ribbion cane that I made.
George showed us how to make a shell bead. I really liked the technique. I will take another run at it in the future. The blue bead is my second attempt at a hollow bead.
This is my second electro formed bead. I painted on the design and then we added copper and electricty in a solution and the copper formed onto the paint. It was nifty.
Some of my attempts at harliquin beads and my 3rd attempt at a hollow bead is the blue with the floral designs.
Silver fuming over light ivory base with black end caps. The dots and swirls are dark ivory.
Raku Jitterbug frit on a black base covered with clear glass.
black base with raked raku and shards.
black base with shards and silver wire.
My second silver fumed bead. I really liked this effect.
My first electro formed bead. The painting is very fine and the copper was dipped in liver of sulfer and then in another chemical to make it verdigris. The base of the bead was white, transparent blue and green.
Better photo of my first vessel bead.
I have some brown wedgwood that inspired this bead.
The tear drop was going to be another round hollow bead, but then the lunch bell rang so it became a tear drop instead. ;)
The green one with the yellow/red/black dots was my first attempt at a fishscale bead. The yellow and red one in the upper right was my second attempt. Note don't do yellow and red fish scales unless you want to go blind.
The blue and black swirled one has silver wire wrapped around the top and melted in. It also has a CZ plunged into the glass and then covered with clear.
Dicro glass. Is pretty and sparkley but I think I like it for backgrounds.
This was copper tubing wrapped in silver wire and then covered with clear and blue
I liked the texture tha this one came out with. I may try and put silver tubing inside it so I can wear it as a neclace.
The bead release crumbeled as I was working this one. The adventurene is still all lumpy but I like the way it came out.
My many attempts at harliquin beads. I started to get the hang of it towards the end of the class. I can do much more even dots now. The ink blue and sage green one is my favorite.
The two coper covered beads together.
A better picture with the cz.
All of my hollow beads.
