The rather ugly brick building with the big clock behind me is Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each December.
Inside, City Hall is more attractive. The murals painted throughout give an interesting glimpse into Norwegian history.
It's here in the main hall that the prize ceremony is held.
