Save the Children "Caps to the Capital" Campaign 2007

Members of HeartFelt Angels were given envelopes to make and send in their crocheted or knitted hats to Save the Children - Caps to the Capital. Beth Parsons and Chris Davis were asked to participate with the trip to Capital Hill. (Apologies for some of the blurry pictures - last pictures were taken in a very crowded room!)

Baby Items for Holidays and Special Events

The members of HeartFelt Angels makes different baby items for the NICU's and units for holidays, like Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, July 4th, Apple Blossom, UVA Homecoming, etc. These special things brings a lot of smiles and touches many hearts in the NICU's and the units.

Knit One, Save One Event for Save the Children 2008

HeartFelt Angels hosted a Knit One, Save One event for Save the Children. Members and the community crocheted and knitted baby hats for babies in under developed countries.

5th Year Celebration for Afghans for Angels - VA Chapter/HeartFelt Angels

This was our 5th year celebration at Winchester Medical Center meeting room, next to the Cafeteria. The meeting room is no longer there as they remodeled the Cafeteria!

One of my reasons for starting my charity

This is just one of the reasons I started my charity. My son, Steven. He was born 3 months early weighing 2 pounds 3 ounces. The next day he dropped to 1 pound 13 ounces. As a parent in the NICU, I saw several babies pass away. It's what the parents had at that time to start my charity.
