Nick Borges 1953-2012
We are sad to announce the passing of longtime resident Nick Borges (1953-2012). Over the years Nick served Harbin in many ways, predominately as a manager in both the restaurant and human resources. For many of us he was our welcoming portal into resident life. Nick was an accomplished painter with a strong and steady creative drive, a pragmatist that kept our new age dreams in perspective and a humorist with a dry, sharp wit.
He was also a man who, as his physical suffering increased, yielded to the opening of his heart. For this beautiful lesson we are greatly indebted. Sending light.
