Rob and Dan became friends at Church back in 2002
Dan led a small group on doubt that Rob was apart of. Over the next few years, Rob would completely lose belief in God and become a staunch Athiest.

Long Shutter Guerrilla pod On top of the Lumiere Casino
Night One: Slept in an abandoned warehouse in STL
The trains woke us up about every half hour. Rob didn't sleep much though
Graffiti wisdom
A shot of the warehouse that we slept in
The other side of the warehouse, there were about 15 total homeless people sleeping there, some were big into the drugs, the ones we stayed with were into being happy campers
found a can of spray paint... Why not?
top floor of the building, overlooking the Mississippi
Insert deeper meaning here
Crossing the bridge into East STL
First ride, from downtown East STL to.... Downtown East STL. Short but sweet
He just put us back on the highway, where we were stopped by a cop and told to leave the city before it got dark. We then hopped on the Metro-link and made it to Scott Airforce base
Walking down the interstate on day 2. We got a ride from the metro link station to a small town in Illinois, and then we camped in a cornfield behind McDonalds. Soon after this shot we got picked up and driven all the way to Evansville, Indiana
The Lovely ladies that took care of us that night in Evansville. We initially met Johnna, far right, at a coffee house. She then called her friends and we ended up hanging out with them that night, being fed and bought a bunch of beer. Not gonna lie, it was amazing.
Evansville, IN... The truth
The ladies introduced us to Kory, he let us crash at his place. A great host.
creepy similarity
Louisville KY, Wayside Christian Mission's choir
our room at the homeless shelter that we stayed at
this happened more that a few times while hiking down the interstate
While hiking thru KY, we saw a sign for 2 seminaries. We thought we would try and ask for help and see if Christians were responsive. No help from the seminary itself but the first person we met at the desk ended up buying us lunch and donating some money to be spent on future Case studies.
Preying mantis on Rob's head
Kentucky barrel whiskey that was given to us by our host at his farm in the middle of Kentucky. That day a cop told us weren't allowed on the interstate, and then he took us to a rest stop to try and hitch hike there. We got kicked out of the rest stop, and ended up going to the on ramp and hoping someone would pick us up before the cops were called again, and luckily we did. We ended up in a small town at a gas station where we were trying to chill out on the side of the building until morning. Everything was fine until we got into a yelling match and attracted the attention of management. Then a man was nice enough to take us back to his farm, so the cops didn't have to be called. This ended the hitchhiking section of the US and we called in a ride from Dan's great Aunt and Uncle who happened to be in Louisville at an antique collectible fishing lure convention.... you can't make that up. They drove us to Washington DC, where their home is
where we stayed in KY,
Touristy crap
On a $25 bus from DC to NY
Our first bus ride, but it would not be the last
Hiking through London

Brent, great guy and fellow couch surfer

One of the chickens wandered in when we were loading our packs to depart Geneva
