Santa on a street corner
Note the large ship in the back - this restaurant had unique decor
The doorman had a floor length leopard print coat. We thought it merited a picture.
Chris and I - the buffet was behind us - this restaurant was kind of like a Brazilian steakhouse meets Chinese buffet.
What better thing than seeing a large green frog when you're walking home from Chinese class?
I snapped this photo on the subway after a great dinner of Japanese Curry. Taking a photo on a moving train is not very easy - thus the slightly crooked picture. Jim and Jasmine are fascinating people - so interesting!
Santa in one of the malls - he seems to have shrunk.
This Santa had a security guard.
My manager was wearing the hat - and when I wanted to take a picture he made me put on one too. The hat had little gold moons on it - only in China!
Tinsel tree - in the middle of large apartment complex close to us.
Guests at Nathalie's party - Say Qiezi (Eggplant)!
Nathalie's party was a blast. Chris told our teacher (in the middle) that vodka was water - it was pretty funny when she started drinking it!
Me, Chris, Chen Zhuo's boyfriend and Chen Zhuo.
Looks like the Elf found two Santas.
Nathalie and me - Nathalie - remember, when you come to the States, there is an open couch in Chicago!
Christmas morning - what better than a big breakfast
Pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice and peanut butter. What else do you need?
Chris' ears seem to have grown. The plastic forks we had didn't work so well, but they functioned.
Liz came down and joined us - bringing two chairs (for a party we're having next week) and real forks and more plates. Have fun in Hawaii Liz!
