Steve lounges in our cozy bedroom.
Ginny made a Snow Blob to celebrate an unexpected Georgia snow storm.

Steve models the super tool belt.
Ginny helps Steve put up the shingles.
Steve built these awesome shelves to organize the tool shed.
Larry installed a heavy duty air pump for painting. We later built a little house for it.
Steve and Larry hoist Larry's motor up into his 28-foot Sea Pearl, Belle.
Steve and the fancy new bumper we got from the junkyard to replace our smashed one.
The new bumper was not as easy to install as we had hoped. Larry had to tear out the old one with his deadly grinder.
We are soooo proud of our shiny new bumper!
Steve fixes the bent tailgate by driving over it.
Steve and Larry examine the twisted trailer.
Steve temporarily attaching what will be the bottom flange of the cabin top.
The cabin top with the flange epoxied into place.
We made our own washers for bolting down the cabin top.
Ginny welds up aluminum brackets to hold the cam latches in place around the door.
Welding.
Ginny checks for a good fit before we epoxy the frame to the cabin top.
Clamping the door frame to the cabin top created a toothsome monster!
Steve is possessed by his love of fiberglassing.
We installed a flimsy lock on the cabin door to keep out lightweight criminals while leaving an easier path for dedicated thieves than breaking the cabin apart.
Steve paints the tanks and bins.
The floorboards which move over each other to expose the bins underneath for easy access to our cookies and whatnot.
Steve makes new oarlock platforms, stronger and more adjustable than his original pair.
We took the boat out on the lake by Stone Mountain to try out the rowing station and found these baby geese!
View from our room at Cedar Key. That's Steve swimming in the pool.
A pelican and cat vie for fish guts at the cleaning station.
Horseshoe crabs mating on the beach at Cedar Key.
This awesome guy was hanging out on the bridge next to a man who was fishing. He lurked, hoping for a treat, and refusing to be budged by even the closest of passing vehicles.
We rode Larry's folding bikes all over Cedar Key.
Steve sails Larry's SeaPearl 21 back into shore at Cedar Key.
Various small craft seeing and being seen in the shallows off Cedar Key.
Steve and Larry reattach the skeg after it fell off during one of our kayak trips near Cedar Key. Unfortunately the instructions were in Czech and the repair was consequently flawed. It fell off again 20 minutes later.
Back in the Atlanta area, Steve launches our boat in Lake Lanier.

Driving to the Caribbean Festival in Stone Mountain we found the road blocked and ended up getting the perfect spot to watch the parade.
Ginny fiberglasses the first layer of what will become the bottom of the lazarette.
Steve makes epoxy art on the lazarette's front panel.
Steve enjoys a morning movie with his super 5-layered pancake birthday cake.
The rowing station as it now stands. The pieces will be removable and easily stowed for sailing. The only thing left to do is install something to eliminate movement of the monorail from side to side.
This is the lazarette in place, but without the top attached. The dividers perpendicular to the keel are removable.
One of many many cool bugs we met at Larry's House.
This is a debris bug (not sure what they're really called). He looks like random ground dirt, but is actually a bug!
After leaving Georgia we hiked to the junction of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. The sign on the left is a federal marker housing a hornet's nest. It was plainer than the three-state marker we found in New England, but it was easier to find.
Garbage-rotten-doll-head art! Yay!
Steve runs back to feed the meter. Nashville, TN.
This beautiful camping spot on Hopkins Creek, Illinois, became the scene of our worst mosquito attack in ever!
Finally in St.Louis! Lena and Jesse took us to the sculpture park. Jesse brought his sword and ran around attacking invisible enemies. Thanks for keeping us safe Jesse!
Baby Violet, Lena and Ginny pose in front of the COOLEST SCULPTURE EVER!
Ginny disappears in a weird creek-bridge sculpture.
Third coolest sculpture.
Steve and Violet rock out!
