Self Portrait (tripod + self timer)
Flame Skimmer Dragonfly Dragonflies are voracious carnivores. Females lay their eggs in water, where the larval insects live by ambushing small aquatic insects. When fully grown, they crawl out of the water and transform into the adult dragonfly, catching insects in flight. Dragonflies hold their wings extended when perched. The smaller damselflies fold their wings. See: http://bigsnestpond.net/Pond/dragons&ponds.html
