'0SK8 NIGHT
Rachel, Janay, and I met up downtown for dinner before '08 Ice Skating Night - or, as the gov't cleverly titled it, '0SK8 Night. Before we chowed down, though, we came upon a crowd of dancers on the street. They played Journey, and we couldn't resist. (Janay, however, watched from the sidelines.) After food and moshing, we walked over to Starbucks to consume hot cocoa and then to Yerba Buena Playground to get sick off the slides.
And from 9:30 - 11:30ish, Lowell's Class of 2008 ruled the rink. It was a night of ice shaving fights, skating chains, and glorious wipe-outs. I love seniors!
