Combination of spool knitting with wet felting of wool fibres. Spool knitted cord is embedded with wool fibres,(pearls) than the fibres are wet felted and shaped into pebbles or as I call them pearls. Good way to use odd bits and leftover non wool type of yarns. For the cord, yarns used: linen/rayon, rayon chenille. Other yarn that can be used: mercerized cotton, silk, tencel, any shiny type of fibre to contrast with the felted wool of the pearls.
Rustic style pouch was designed to combine with the pearls. A flat felted piece, size of 13" by 8" was used. Two folds: one for bottom of pouch, the other for top. Cut a hole in top part to allow for pearl and accessing inside the pouch.
