2-1 Ethan and I stayed home today. He had a virus that caused hives. He looks awful, but really feels fine. He decided to play with Thomas. He hasn't done that in months!
2-2 Mom asks, "Why is there a snow ball in my freezer?" Ben responds, "Because I worked really hard to make it." OK, but I wonder how long I will have to keep it?
2-3 My camera arrived today from the repair shop. I really hope it works.

4-28 Ben asked me to make brownie in cupcake form for his soccer treat. No problem until I burn them.... bu that is not the end of the story. I grabbed another bag from the cupboard and a second bag fell it hit the floor and exploded, sending brownie mix all over the kitchen floor and part way into the living room. I get angry just retelling the story. The second pan of brownie made it safely to the soccer game and the kids enjoyed every bite.

5-29 We rented the movie "Bedtime Stories" What a great movie to watch as a family. The DVD case was generic, so we decided to take photo of the moon.
5-30 We spent all day working on the north side of the house. My dad brought us some fill dirt and we purchased some good compost from Chad Steenhoek to fill in the rest. We finished the project by planting Hostas and adding wood chips around them.
5-31 Nadia fell today and scrapped both knees. She limped around all day, several times she was pretty sure that she could not walk. What a drama queen!
6-1 I have been looking for a new comforter for several years. Andrew and I can never agree. They usually have way to many flowers. Amazingly enough, we agreed on this one.

7-2 Spirit Sands is a provincial park. It is a part of Manitoba that resembles a desert. We spent several hours hiking around on the dunes.

George's creation, he is a professional artist and a reptile lover, we would not expect anything less.
