Silk - shattered. This has been replaced on a previous occasion definitely with the original material. It is possible that this material was taken from the now missing 'apron' Also shows lace collar.

Front internal - showing the stain that on the surface is straight edged showing evidence for a missing overskirt piece.
Skirt. There was a tuck in the skirt 3" below the waistband There is also evidence of a missing overskirt which can be discerned by straight edged stains left on the skirt.

Box pleated hem 'piped'
The 'tuck' evident a couple of inches below the waistband. Possibly this was the anchor of the missing overskirt, though this would be an almost unknown technique, or a quick method of shortening the skirt?
