Sunrise over the Lone Cone. Our extinct volcano.
The light seen above the antlers is not a reflection, nor is it the result of artificial light. Another spirit.
We have no idea where the blue light came from in this shot. The only light source was the campfire.
Notice the size of the flames compared to the coffee pot on the left side. Through the whole evening, the flames never appeared to the naked eye to go any higher than this.
The camp fire in relation to Jeff's bedroll in the background.
In the actual camera lens, when this shot was taken, Jeff was standing six to eight feet away from the fire, seen in the right side of the shot. That would put this loop of fire right next to his head, if it had actually been there when the photo was taken. More spirits. Notice how the flame from the fire goes straight up. Where did the loop come from. Jeff never saw it in the lens or with his eyes.
This is how Jeff's campfire looked the entire time it burned, whether he was looking at it through the camera lens or not. All other photos of his campfire did not appear to him the way the camera photographed them. He had spirits with him that night.
Jeff's camp by firelight.
