the vintage color is from the 20+ year old wood, covered with clear nc lacquer.
20+year old flamed Bosnian maple; neck is from 1 piece, cut for multi-layer neck (see the continuing flames on every piece of maple).
again: clear nc lacquer over old (yellowed) wood

Ebeony-Maple-ebony back of headstock finally finished after fixing several issues.

inside the rim: soundpost on upper left bout, supported with ebony veneer, spruce linnings prior shaping; large side braces are going to be thinned scalloped.
outside the rim: soundport; wood for b+s is 15 year old Bosnian flamed maple and top is 20 year old German Moonspruce.
Schaller JazzHumbucker installed with replaced jack by a golden endpin jack. The advantage of this pick up is -apart from it´s sound - that you can adjust the pick-up for every string individually by sliding the pole pieces
