One last photo from the S. Florida Folk Fest. MJ Bishop took this photo of Danny Schmidt onstage with me on harmonies. Thanks MJ!
Brian flying a kite - or attempting to.
The endless attempts to get kids (or dogs) to look up and smile...
Check it out, Auntie Esther! SAND!
I had a pink rental bike on an island where pink is revered.
Me and Oliver in the sand. Ain't he cute? He's my nephew!
My other nephew, Milo, fell asleep the moment we arrived at the restaurant.
Dad and sister, Anita.
Bro-in-law Brian and nephew Oliver. Michael McNevin eat your etch-a-sketch heart out! :-)
Dad and his two daughters...
The classic family at a restaurant picture. Why do humans do this?
Mom and Dad walking with there grandson Oliver....
So cute...
My first view of Key West drag queens.
And then a smiling male dancer on a bar...
I LOVED the drag show at the Aqua bar...
A Mozart aria...
It was smoky at the drag show, so we mostly hung out by the window. That's my sister-in-law Karen on the left. And my sister Anita on right with margarita.
So fun! Madonna, I think....
Ah! The drama!
Across the street from our BandB was the local "Monkey Bar". Anita said it was imperative we have a beer there, which we did. We were the ONLY women in the place.
The Monkey Bar was cool because Whole Wheat Radio listeners just contributed over $800 to the Talkeetna Community Playground project for the Monkey Bar(s)!
I got a letter from New Zealand which my mom hauled all the way to Florida for me to open.
Mom should have read the small print which said, "Secret Wheatie. Open on Jan 25th." Which would be the day we got home to Philly.
I just like this pic of little Oliver coming up the stairs with Anita.
And my very bright and STRONGMAN nephew Milo hauls the luggage to the car for his family's departure.
Isn't my mom adorable in her hat?
A nice view of a very lovely BandB. Thanks, Dad! (the guy walking across the lot)
Group shot before we went separate ways.
Then some last minute relaxation by the pool with Oliver.
Now this is vacation!
Hi!
Nephews and sisters...
I was charged with Oliver's care and he fell down. I took a pic of his booboo to get him to stop crying. Thank goodness it worked!
Totally out of context. From my sister's camera. Adorable shot of Oliver back in Alaska before the Florida trip.
And a great one of Milo atop boulders at the beach.
The family in the water...
The Sponge Man cops a feel.
At Kimchifox's house concert. The audience waves hello. They were great!
The house concert took place in Peter's home. Peter is creative and cool. He made these dancing puppets himself.
Peter taught me how to bang on the board to get the puppets to dance to the Cajun music coming out the speakers.
One of my famous, annoying shots holding the camera out with one hand. That's me and Kimchifox!
Another hold-the-camera shot. With Chili from WWR.
An incredible house concert venue. A small in-home theatre with lights and everything. Cooldogconcerts.com . I feel lucky getting to do an opener there.
Paul G at CoolDog at his snazzy soundboard. He did a great job on sound!
I opened for the Joe Damico quintet. Joe is a very amazing jazz vibes player.
One-hand-camera shot of me with Paul G of CoolDog.
The only save-able part of this shot. Me and Paul G.
CoolDog allows there dogs in to see the music. That's Cool. Dog. :-)
Beer is allowed at CoolDog. It was good, hoppy beer.
Father and son, Paul and Tye. CoolDogConcerts.com in Clayton, Delaware.
After the concert I stayed to view pieces of videotaped concerts in CoolDog's past on a big screen. Recognize this guy?
My favorite tree at Tyler Arboretum, near Media, PA. The amazing Cedar Of Lebanon.
Looking up at the Cedar of Lebanon.
These things grow around a particular Southern tree. If you don't know, the answer is in the next photo.
The familiar paths of Tyler Arboretum...
I sat on my favorite mid-creek boulder and set out my Hoagie. Italian.
I opened the hoagie. And looked at the creek and the rocks.
I ate the hoagie. :-)
Color!
Such color....
A note from home... I miss you too, Beta.
