Gates Pavilion at St. Columba Conference Center
The Rev. Drew Woodruff and Evelyn Piety of the West Tennessee Haiti Partnership set up a display to raise awareness of the work the partnership does and the November 7th Stop Hunger Now food packing event.
The Hager and Carrington families (and friends) of St. Elisabeth's provided musical entertainment.
Attendees enjoyed the show
Lunch, provided by the St. Columba staff, was a buffet of pulled pork, hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings, sides of baked beans and slaw, and brownies, cobbler and sno cones for dessert.
There was plenty of room for volleyball, croquet, horseshoes and soccer in the meadow.
Pumpkin painting was popular with many young attendees.

Amazin' Grayson (www.graysonsmith.com) of Saint John's provided tree readings for the crowd.
Freshly-popped popcorn provided an afternoon snack.
Two moon bounces provided hours of entertainment for young attendees.
Elizabeth Wirls of The Episcopal Bookshop set up shop for for picnic-ers to peruse.
Hayride tours gave diocesan members a taste of St. Columba's 148 beautiful acres.

Attendees rode the paddle boat around the lake.
Gwin Robbins offered fly-fishing lessons on the dock.
Some attendees took a spin around the lake in a canoe.
Others simply enjoyed some quiet time in the beauty of nature, right here in Memphis!
St. Columba's outdoor chapel is a picturesque worship space.
St. Elisabeth's church will be built on this section of property next door to St. Columba.
