Taken from the doorway of the bathroom.
View from the other end of the room. The front door is in the left corner, painted maroon. The bathroom door is open in the left hand corner.
Now let's start the tour! Here we have the shoe storage, desk, tv and bed. The front door is not in the picture, but is directly right of the shoes.
Shoe rack detail. A fun purchase from IKEA!
Nice wooden desk. It's usually more cluttered but I cleaned it off :)
TV with bookshelf/DVD storage.
Our bed. Really nice, actually...most beds here are just like cots, with thin, stiff mattresses. This one is thick and still stiffer than we're used to, but comfortable.
Curtains, that we didn't buy ourselves. The house owner went out and purchased them at our request!
"The Bedroom"
Wardrobes...I like saying that word...makes me feel old fashioned.
Yet another view. I think I took too many pictures.
This couch folds out into a bed. Yay, now we can have company! Our "Living Room" was purchased from IKEA.
Living room and kitchen.
The "Pantry." It's big enough for all of our needs.
My little oven! At first I was skeptical that I could cook everything I wanted to, but it's been doing wonderfully.
Little fridge!
Peek into the bathroom.
Oooo... a view from the top!
Ok, so bathrooms here are different - there is no separate shower. Instead, the door is water-proof and the whole bathroom is tiled. This faucet on the wall has a shower head attached, so it's used both for personal cleaning and hosing down the whole bathroom. Pretty nice, actually. I might like it better!
Da sink. Look closely at the sticker...
God knew I was coming and made sure to name the faucet after me :)
Proof I'm really supposed to be here!
The throne. Toilet paper comes in packages similar to kleenex, and cannot be thrown down the toilet. That's what the trash can is for...
One last view, looking in from the open doorway. Home sweet home!
