Sesquicentennial Weekend Program
The Saturday evening Sesquicentennial program began at 7:00 p.m. with prayer. Introductions of former ministers, VIP guests, visiting families and the History Committee were made. The program took us back in time as each former minister present was invited forward to share memories. History Committee members read greetings from ministers not able to attend, and a biographical reading or powerpoint presentation was given for each minister serving the church back to our first minister and missionary to the Midwest, the Rev. Frantisek Kun. Many memories noted the strong Czech heritage of the church, past members who were pillars of the church, and of course, kolaches!
