August 3rd - Trip up the Blaeberry Valley, north of Golden, past Split Creek to the Mummery Glacier. Beautiful drive!
Aug 3 -Here's a good view of the Mummery Glacier ... not to be missed if you're in the area.
Aug. 3 - We enjoyed Split Creek along the way. Beautiful Drive!
Aug 3 - Drove back down the valley and walked the Labyrinth towards evening ... so peaceful!
August 4th - OB campground where we camped for the week, very peaceful, except for ... a helicopter picking up supplies. It landed while we were having breakfast.
Aug. 4 - We did the 2km hike to the back end of Lake Louise. This was a "Get in Shape" hike before tackling the Paradise Creek - Giant Steps trek on the 6th.
August 5th - We rested and enjoyed the day with Elaya! This photo was taken by Elaya as Val and I prepared dinner.
Aug 5 - Another pic taken during dinner preparations. Elaya brought dessert!
Aug 5 - Elaya captured this great picture of the mountain that towers above the OB campsite.
August 6th - Creek at the foot of Paradise Valley. We left the parking lot at 10:30am and enjoyed the easy walk through the conifer forest, and had spectacular views of the northern slope of Mount Temple from the bridges that cross Paradise Creek.
Aug 6 - Looking up Paradise Creek. At km 4.2, the trail meets with the Shoel Valley Trail to the right, which leads up the Saddleback. We continued on the Paradise Valley trail for about 1 km to the Lake Annette junction. We hiked left from the junction, and continued another 0.6 km on a moderately steep climb which takes you right to the edge of beautiful Lake Annette.
Aug 6 - From the Annette Lake, the trail gets steeper as it winds through the forest for about 1km, and then levels off as it traverses the northern slope of Mount Temple.
Aug 6 - The trail breaks out of the forest onto a huge rock slide, high on the north side of Mount Temple.
Aug 6 - From this altitude the view is spectacular! You can see Horseshoe Glacier, Hungabee Mountain and Ringrose Peak, as well as the Giant Steps. In this photo, we see the valley floor far below, and the 'big hulk' of Mount LeFroy centered in the background.
Aug 6 -We crossed the rockslide and continued on the trail which wanders through alpine meadows in sparse forest. The meadows were laced with wildflowers. We came to the Sentinel Pass Trail junction. From here, it is a mere 1.5 km hike to the Giant Steps, and they can be heard. At 3:00 pm, we arrived at the Steps ... the Centre of the Temple.
Aug 6 - The beauty of the falls and the mountain peaks that surround them is indescribable!
Aug 6 - During our 2-hr stay in the Centre ... the Holy of Holies ... we hiked up towards Horseshoe Glacier.
Aug 6 - We spotted 2 very large flat rocks above the falls, which seemed perfect for Val to receive her 2nd REIKI attunement. Here is Ron sitting on the rock.
Aug 6 - Val sits peacefully ... content to sit on the large flat 'Reiki' rock in upper Paradise Valley.
Aug 6 - As we were walking along the upper falls, we were drawn to take a picture of this peaceful clearing. Elaya later confirmed that this was the very Centre of the Temple, where Mikael's stone is buried.
Aug 6 - We took in the scenery and the energy of this fantastic place for two hours, and reluctantly departed for the journey home. Here's another photo looking down the Giant Steps. We arrived back at the trailhead at 9:00pm. A trip we'll never forget!
August 7th - We rested and enjoyed our campsite.
Aug 7th - After supper, we walked the Labyrinth again. It's a very centering experience.
Aug 7th - The Labyrinth was very mystical in the evening light. We prepared to go up to Split Creek and the Gate of Grace.
Aug 7 - We arrive at Split Creek following a 20 mins drive from the Labyrinth.
Aug 7 - We sat at the picnic table and enjoyed the scenery at dusk.
Aug 7 - When it got a little darker, we walked to the Gate of Grace.
Aug 7 - We did a short meditation and felt a great sense of peace.
Aug 7 - We found that most of the stones that we placed at the Gate of Grace during the Eden Event were still in position. We snapped some photos before leaving and were rewarded with some orbs.
Aug 7 - Back in camp at the end of a gentle, introspect day ... and a wonderful time visiting Sacred Sites in the Temple.
August 8th - 08:08:08 - We took a stroll to the far end of Moraine Lake where we ate lunch.
Aug 8 - Another photo of the lake ... a powerful and peaceful power spot ... the Above of the Angels.
Aug 8 - The Tower as seen from the Rock Pile at Moraine Lake.
Aug 8 - From Moraine Lake, we returned to Lake Louise.
Aug 8 - At Lake Louise, we wanted to locate the "fairy den" that Tyberonn speaks of when he had his experience of the powerful 'BLUE' Light.
Aug 8 - Following our intuition, we hiked up a small creek bed up the bank off of the main trail along the lake.
Aug 8 - We feel that we found Tyb's 'sacred site' where we meditated and lost track of time for over 2 hours.
Aug 8 - Another photo of the trail to Tyb's sacred site.
Aug 8 - The wonderful creek that led us to a great meditation.
September 5th - We managed to get passage on the shuttle to Lake O'Hara. This was one of the most inspiring trips we have made so far! Here is Lake O'Hara, Sanctuary of Twin Flames, as we begin our climb to Lake Oesa.
Sept 5 - Finally, after a fairly steep climb, we arrive at Lake Oesa ... Essence of Love. It was awesome ... even if the weather was not the best. We had low cloud cover, drizzling rain and light snow at Oesa.
Sept 5 - Another view of mystical Lake Oesa. It was like being in another world as we soaked up the energy of this amazing 'hanging' lake.
Sept 5 - We looked for the Sacred Tree that marks the spot where Lord Sanat Kumara, the Venusian, ascended back to Venus in 1953. To our surprise ... the tree had not fared well and looked quite dead. We reported this to Elaya.
Sept 5 - Val standing behind the Sacred Tree. Note from Elaya: "Dear Hearts ... as you can see in these photos, the tree doesn't look like it will revive. I have visited this dear creature many times since 1987. It flourished miraculously ... alone ... in this high alpine scree, for all those years. The last time I saw it was September 10th, 2000, when it served to confirm the location of Lord Sanat Kumara's Ascension. It was then alive and well. Confirming this Sacred Site may have been its sole purpose for growing where no other tree exists. The message that I received while viewing these photos was, "The Sacred Tree has made its transition to the 'New Earth'. This transition awaits each one of you. This Blessed Tree has consciously shifted out of your reality as a SIGN to you, Elaya ... and anyone who feels ready ... that IT IS NOW TIME to head h*OM*e!"
Sept 5 - Amazing, aged rock formations on the Great Divide, at the top of the upheaval that occurred millions of year ago to form the Rocky Mountains.
Sept 5 - One of the hanging lakes along the trail between Lake O'Hara and Lake Oesa. Stunningly beautiful landscape. It leaves one speechless. We returned to Red Deer the next morning. My body was aching so bad and I was low on energy. It was almost like a flu. However, I strongly feel that it may have been that I experienced some sort of shift, as I was back up quickly and running fine again ... with the help of Val's great nursing skills and hours of sleep. Hope you enjoyed out trip. Thanks for taking the time to journey with us. Val & Ron
