Wonderful campfire! Our evenings were spent around the fire, getting acquainted, sharing stories, chanting, drumming and dancing.
Blue Mountain Dove sharing one of her great stories.
Sarah and Teal Blue Butterfly warming up by the fire.
What a beautiful, inviting spiral flame.
Joanne and Dove enjoying stories and campfire popcorn that Val made almost every evening. Wonderful!
First day late arrivals ... White Wolf and Teal Blue Butterfly drove all the way from Vancouver Island.
Ahhh! The happy Islanders have landed! White Wolf on the (left) and Teal Blue Butterfly on the (right). They were well equipped for their campout.
Sarah, Val, Ron and popcorn ... great comeraderie around the campfire.
The evening is winding down, but nobody wants to leave the circle.
These evening campfire photos were taken over four days, but they clearly depict our sharing time together.
Same evening ... different angle.
The numbers dwindle as the night gets darker ... and at Solstice here on the 50th Parallel ... that's around 11:00pm.
Many laughs were had by all.
Our doubled-up kitchen/eating tents. Very efficient!
Getting weary, but hesitating on going off to bed.
Dear Val & Ron. These two were our grounding balance in the circle. How nice of Val to share Ron with all the rest of us. He was a truly gentle, very present masculine energy ... blessed Metatron!
Ahhh! Daylight! Here's Mom, Joanne and daughter, Sarah warming up around the fire before we gathered in the Sanctuary for meditation.
Ahhhh! That sunshine sure feels good ... especially first thing in the morning. Nathalie, White Wolf and Teal Blue Butterfly.
Val and Ron taking a smoke/coffee break.
A typical morning during our breakfast/camp cleanup hour.
A damp chilly morning! Nathalie, Joanne (back to the camera), Dove and Nance around a warm fire before gathering in the Sanctuary.
Same morning ... different view.
One of our morning fires ... so inviting!
Dinner time always brought out the zany antics in everyone. Here Dove has captured Nathalie!!!
Well ... maybe Dove is just leaning on her for support? [lol]
Nathalie, White Wolf and Teal Blue Butterfly enjoying the morning sun ... a rarity during our time at Split Creek.
Teal Blue Butterfly, White Wolf and Nance sharing camera shots.
Joanne and Sarah with our mountains in the background.
Here we go ... everyone gets into the act. Again , here are Nathalie and Dove ... posing for the camera this time!
We decided we would practice the "hokey pokey", which Archangel Mikael mentioned to Joseph. "That's what it's all about!" He said. Here Nathalie, Dove, Joanne and Sarah are hard at it ... trying to figure out 'what it's all about'.
Well ... we knew that we had to master the 'hokey pokey'. You know ... if the Archangel mentioned it ... it must be important. So we practiced a lot.
You can see that we really enjoyed our task ... I mean ... we got downright 'silly'. Not much coordination here ... eh!
Oh my G..! Are we for real? Look at Joanne in the green jacket, 4th from the end ... she is really getting carried away ... wouldn't you say? And she was sooooo quiet when she arrived.
Here we go ... now we're attracting orbs! Ya just never know ... with Spirit at play ... anything can happen!
Everyone was "happy" ... and here's a particularly happy bunch ... our official camp flowers!
Nathalie posing with her favourite camp flower ... the turquoise one. Hmmmmm!
Oh, oh!!! It's catchy! Now elaya* has this dreamy look on her face ... fancying herself a 'flower' too.
These old buddies have been around the block together ... and they're still friends! Now that's amazing!
We're happy together!!! In all kinds of weather!!! ... Nathalie and elaya* still carrying on!
Here they are again ... hamming it up! What was the purpose of this gathering? Oh yeah ... the Gathering of ONE! It looks like this 'ONE' is hanging out at the funny farm!
Oh! It's cozy picture time! Old pals Dove and elaya* snuggle up for another photo op.
Well now ... when two ancient souls meet again ... it's a flippin' riot!
Here's a closer look ... if you don't believe us.
We are trying to keep a straight face! ... Really!!!!!! Pose pretty girls!
Evening time again ... let's get that fire going.
Teal Blue Butterfly and Val are up to something ... boy do they look like the 'cat that swallowed the mouse ... or what?
Mom & daughter ... Ahhhh!
Inseparable! That's what they are ... like two peas in a pod. I mean look ... they even have the same smirk on their faces.
Now this is what we call "double trouble" ... and in this case ... it's the Vancouver Island variety. The question is, "Where do 'flower children' go when they grow up?" And the answer! "To the EDEN EVENT!!!"
Ahah! There's the man who keeps us in kindling. Hi Ron! Way to swing that thing!
Look at him go! Bless his heart!
Nathalie ... our resident floutist ... still playinge. Lovely for the rest of us.
Hanging out ... probably waiting for dinner to be ready. Never a dull moment.
These two are inseparable. How great is that?
Ahah! You've caught us in the act ... we're practicing the "hokey pokey" ... again! We have taken the Archangel's comments to heart ... we're going to master this dance. And look ... pretty good coordination ... eh!?!
Here we are ... all 10 of us this time. Nance set the timer on her camera and caught this amazing shot. There's Ron, Val, Teal Blue Butterfly, Blue Mountain Dove, Joanne, Sarah, Nance, White Wolf, Nathalie and elaya*. "You put your right foot out! You put your right foot in ..." We're getting really good at this dance. The Archangel will be so proud! I'm sure we've each built at least 1,000 bricks trying to get this right.
Another 'practice' shot ... and now it's "You put your left foot out!" How's that Joseph and Gary ... isn't it just the greatest 'dance of oneness' you ever saw? Even the 'smile' is uniform. See the smile on those faces ... and everyone in step too! Ya gotta love it!
Nathalie still playing her *magic*.
We sure are focused on getting that fire going! No wonder our days were generally cloudy and cool. Mother Nature was trying to accommodate our mastering 'Fire Building - 101'. As you can see ... the weather didn't dampen our spirits!
Nathalie's soothing flute tones inspired us.
That must have been a good one, Nathalie! do you want to share??? It was probably Shekinah at play again!
Oh my goodness ... Shekinah has taken over!!!
Oh ... yeah! Shekinah is really making Her Presence known. Gales of laughter struck ... like having a good sneeze ... every day without warning. Check it out!
Would anyone like to take our picture? We're available! Hard to find a more beautiful background!
Okay, Nathalia ... what is going on? Is it HER ... again!!!!
"We're happy together ... ta-ra-ta-tam ...". "Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister ... " Can you hear it ... there's music in the air!
Eanie ... meanie ... minie ... mo ... please tell me which way do I go? This sure looks like a busy place.
Chaos is beautiful! Harmonic Chaos is divine!
That's it! Hang onto that flower for dear life, elaya*. Don't ever put it down.
A gray morning, playing and warming up.
This is after dinner, and it seems that it's always the same ones around that campfire! elaya* is obviously moving on from the scene, but where are the other five?
Ahhh! elaya*, the shutterbug, captured in a haze of campfire smoke.
"You got me!"
Now ... Sarah is up on the table hamming it up! Boy things are sure catchy around here.
Ahah! It's the Sarah Salsa!
Oh ... now these two can't quit. Give them any attention and they go right off the charts.
Beginning a chanting circle before retiring. There's an orb above Joanne's head.
Dove relaxing before bedtime.
We're all getting our photos taken by Nance. Here's Joanne with that beautiful, happy, contented look on her face.
White Wolf looks very different here because she's not laughing her head off. Woops! Sorry WW ... we're just not used to that 'demure' look.
Ahhh! Now there's a Vancouver Island smile! Teal Blue Butterfly is making up for WW's impromptue seriousness.
Nathalie ... looking quite contented at the end of the day.
elaya* ... a little weary ... she didn't sleep at all that first night. We won't tell you why ... but she was up and at 'em the next morning, raring to go like everyone else.
Here they are ... Ron & Val. What sweethearts ... literally!
There's a nice orb between Sarah and elaya* ... faint, but quite distinct nonethless. Heh! Heh! Silly ... that's a drum behind Nathalie. Duh!!!
Everyone is happy and ready to retire for the day.
Ron and Val, weary but contented. There are a few orbs in this photo. The best one is above the tent behind Val.
Look what happening ... our good humour must be attracting orbs.
Getting organized to do the "Dance of Oneness" ... our version. As you can see ... ONENESS was not a problem at Split Creek. Sounds contrary doesn't it?
A few orbs watch as we end the evening with some chants and overtones.
Getting close to bedtime! More orbs hanging out.
The orbs must enjoy our company. Here they come again!
We spent some time photographing orbs. Did we find any this time? ... Look way over on the right ... there's one sneaking up on elaya* from behind that tree.
Ahah! If you look carefully, you'll find several orbs in this photo. Everyone's checking the cameras out to have a look at what we've been able to capture.
The night got chilly, so we went into the screen kitchen tent to drum. It's amazing how just a little screen can make a difference. Notice that we have our instruments on the table. Ron is playing his djembe.
As we looked out towards the campfire, we saw these beautiful 'angel' wings. What a blessing!
It's late! But a few nighthawks remain around the fire. I'm hitting the hay! Goodnight!
This great shot of Joanne was taken the morning we broke camp. She was all happy and excited about her new 'Slik Pik' ... that she purchased from Nance. She just couldn't wait to get home and head for her garden. It was very difficult saying "Goodbye" that morning, even when we knew that there is no separation.
