Parke County, Indiana is the self-titled "Covered Bridge Capital of the World". A perfect place for a day trip for some of us, and worth a little detour if you're on your way through this part of the country.

China (Summer 2009)

Photos of my trip to China during the summer of 2009. I went for 'work' -- on a trip to help recruit Chinese high school students to liberal arts colleges in the United States. The trip was sponsored by the Forum for Sino-American Liberal Arts Education Exchange, an organization founded by a group of exceptional graduates of these colleges. My Apartment

A few people have expressed interest in how my apartment turned out. As you know, I moved into a new place and, to say the least, my new apartment is just a wee bit more spacious than my last one. These pictures should give you some sense as to how it's decorated.
