Franconia Notch with Ilan
A trip to the White Mountains in fall 2008, with Ilan Gronau. We camped in Hankock campground near Lincoln/Loon, then hiked the Franconia Ridge as a day trip . We went up on Old Bridle trail, then along the ridge - Mt. Lafayette, Mt. Lincoln, and Haystac - and down on Falling Waters.
Beautiful Foliage vistas from atop the snow-covered ridge.
