Grand Canyon - The Havasupai Country
We exchanged one of our RCI weeks with a 7-d vacation to stay at Wyndham Flagstaff, AZ. The resort gave us 2 apt. Great. But the resort's facilities are meager because it has no indoor facilities at all. We also went to their timeshare presentation and was given a 'gift' that was extremely cheap and low class. A great way to waste our time. Thank goodness our vacation was wonderfully active and eventful. We visited 8 national parks / recreation areas / monuments and 6 state parks / recreation areas. We climbed the rocks at the Slide Rock SP and the Yavapai Point at the Grand Canyon NP; and walked the trails at the Red Rock Crossing SP, Boynton Canyon SP (at the bottom of the Secret Mountain), Petrified Forest NP, Painted Desert NP, Walnut Canyon NP, Sunset Crater NRA, Wupatki NM, Meteor Crater, and Montezuma Castle NM; and visited the Saguaro Lake NRA. It's great !
