Tom Pagano's truck is called "Mountain Pearl". It is a 1953 Ford F-100. Originally built by Otto Rhodes and Bill Dickey in the early 60's and featured twice in Hot Rod Magazine, a color spread in the August 1962 issue. It was pulled out of Otto's garage in 1965 and did not leave for 40 years, when Tom purchased it. The truck features a chopped top, extended front end with pinched fenders and an inverted 55 chevy truck grille , 1965 Ford suspension, lead bodywork, chromed suspension pieces,tri-power 360 FE engine (which can be viewed from inside the truck through a plexi-glass panel, 65 T-bird swivel seats and unique dash insert. Linear actuators work the bed and hood.
GEORGE TROSLEY created the art work. At first Mike Wallace's truck was added as a tribute to him (upper right), Stillwell's Black Bart in Red, Bonnie Lee's F1, Jeff Hornsby (lower left died 1/14/09) Dan's panel.
