"Chronicles", Installations, Municipal Art Gallery Kfar-Saba, 2007 In this installation time and space are interwoven. Piling up, folding, hanging, sewing, patching actions accumulate in the installation to build up temporary structures that can easily be changed. The installation is assembled of fragments cut from historical time. Time here is action time, sewing and arranging time, continues time that accumulates through the sewing action. The stitches are scars which time leaves upon matter as a memory to trace of action that turns into sign.
