DU Friendlies

Our last two games before WUCC were against Ireland U-19s and Ireland U-23s. We started the first game slowly but won out 17-4, scoring 13 points unanswered. The second game was mor of a dogfight. We converted decent blocks early on but made a host of unforced errors. Despite this we ran out 14-7 after 100mins of Ultimate. Big thanks to the two teams for the practice.

7th place in Brimingham with wins over Cardiff Storm, Burro Electrico, Age Against the Machine, Fire 2 and LeedsLeedsLeeds. Our 1 loss was to Emo.

Facepainting O'clock!

A joint effort with LMS Ultimate saw DU paint hundreds of thousands of young and old faces on St. Patricks Day. It was a little like working in a war zone but we survived and had a great bit of banter along the way!

Emo Invitational 2010

A two day tournament in Loughborough, run by Brummie and the EMO teams. 11 of us went over in the end, my broken foot,Louis' twisted back (don't do core the day before you leave for a ournament!) and Mathieu's knee injury left us with 9 players. Despite this we played very well, finished 3rd and won Spirit. A very worthwhile weekend.

Spinning & Circuit Training
