Selecting a point of entry on the skin to enter L4/5 DISC under X ray [C arm] control. Local anesthesia will be given at this point. Point of entry is seen on moniter.

Injecting radiocontrast dye in to the DISC to confirm needle position and to delineat the boundaries of the DISC
Dekompressor Probe fixed to the trochar for removal of DISC material.
SWTICH made ON to rotate the probe inside the DISC. The tip of the porbe is having threads which cut nucleus material which comes along the shaft of the probe.
Probe is moved forward and backward while it is ON.
