What has these kindergarteners so captivated?
Hatching baby chicks! Kindergarten's favorite unit of study in science.
The kindergarten has also started their summer garden with indoor seedlings
The newest member of the Upland community is this dear little kitten who was abandoned by his mother and rescued by Lower School science teacher Cindy Hiles. Although not yet named, this lucky little fellow is receiving lots of TLC from both students and teachers.
What a gorgeous place to spend the morning break!
Must be spring--everyone is tossing lacrosse balls around campus.
The 4th Grade Poppers chose the Southeastern Chapter of the American Red Cross as their March "Poppin' for Charity" recipient. Kate Brogan from the Red Cross's Financial Development Office came to Upland to talk to the class about the work of the Red Cross and to thank them for the donation. She said that the Poppers are the first elementary school group to make such a donation. Well done, Poppers!
