Belgian-party
Every year the people from a neighbourhood in a small Belgian town get together for their annual 'Mussel Feast'. A street is closed to traffic and a marquee erected.
There's music, dancing, fun, laughter and as many portions of mussels and Belgian fries as you can eat. It's a chance for everyone to let their hair down.
People from outside the neighbourhood are also welcome. My wife and I were invited and our participation, as two guests from the UK, was announced by the DJ.
Our friends and the people from the neighbourhood made us feel extremely welcome and we shared in some crazy Belgian fun.
