The traditional state sign
A stop to eat in the Wisconsin chain “Culver's”
We both agreed their butterburgers rival In-N-Out burgers. Now that is saying something!
Enjoying our Culver's concrete mixers by the cornfields right outside the restaurant
We're on our way!
Only one toll to pay...we were glad we didn't go by way of Chicago and have to pay all of their tolls. :)
Grandpa and Ruth have four Britney Spaniels. We got a kick out them!
Crowding around for their morning vitamins
Friday morning we went for a walk in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy
Our goal was to find the natural spring
We found it! It was cool to see the water bubbling up below us.
Friday afternoon Matthew arrived from Milwaukee and we drove over to UW Madison campus for some Babcock ice cream. No, I did not eat two ice cream cones...I am holding Ruth's while she took our picture. :)
Walking along the lakefront at UW
With the lake behind...it was rainy and overcast this day.
Grandpa is proud of how the product he sells is helping all the local farmers. This zuchinni with the aid of his product grew to be 17 inches long. Yes, it is a zuchinni!
Saturday we drove to Milwaukee to see Matthew's band perform at their CD release concert. Here we are waiting outside The Rave/Eagles Club.
Despite the Chaos: live in concert
Matthew is the band's lead guitarist
The front of the Rave/Eagle Club
Gotta document the trip with a picture of a local license plate. :)
Outside their home..until we meet again.
