EU Delegation launches EU in China blogs

In an Official Ceremony held at the Delegation of the European Union to China in Beijing, newly-appointed European Union Ambassador to China Markus Ederer officially launched the EU blogs "EU in China" (欧盟在中国). The blogs and micro-blogs will mainly focus on non-political issues and aim to introduce Chinese readers to European lifestyle issues, including food and drink, art and culture, fashion and technology, sport and travel, study and environment. 2011年3月29日，欧盟驻华代表团新大使艾德和先生发布了“欧盟在中国”的官方微博。名为“欧盟在中国”的微博和博客将主要涉及非政治性的话题，旨在为中国大众介绍欧洲的生活方式，包括美食美酒，艺术、文化、时尚、科技、体育、旅游、学习，以及环境等各方面。

EU led major business delegation to promote best of European food & beverages in China 欧盟农业委员率商业代表团访

EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Ciolos led a major delegation of 30 EU business leaders visited China from March 21-25. The delegation visited Shanghai, Hangzhou and Beijing to promote quality European agricultural products which carry Geographical Indications (GIs), learn more about China’s celebrated gastronomic traditions, discover the richness of rural China and explore with the Chinese government avenues for mutually recognising GI food and drink from China and Europe. 欧洲委员会农业与农村发展委员达契安•乔罗什（Dacian Cioloş）先生带领一个由 30 位欧盟商业领袖组成的代表团于 3 月 21日-25 日来华访问。代表团访问了上海、杭州和北京，推介高品质、带有地理标识的欧洲农产品，体验中国传统美食文化和乡土人情，增进欧洲和中国各具特色的地理标识农产品和酒类产品之间的相互认可。

EU Commissioner for Internal Market & Services to visit China 欧洲联盟内部市场与服务事务委员访华

European Commissioner Michel Barnier, in charge of the Internal Market and Services, including financial services visited Beijing on 21-22 March to hold talks with the Ministry of Finance, financial regulators (CBRC, CSRC, CIRC and PBOC), industry (Bank of China and EU banks) as well as various China experts. 欧洲联盟内部市场与服务事务委员米歇尔•巴尼耶先生于3月21~22日访华。米歇尔•巴尼耶先生与中国财政部，财政金融监管部门（中国银行业监督管理委员会、中国证券监督管理委员会、中国保险监督管理委员会、中国人民银行），企业界（中国银行和欧洲的银行），以及相关领域的中国专家举行了会谈。

Opening Ceremony of EU-China Year of Youth 中欧青年年开幕式

The opening ceremony of the EU-China Year of Youth was held on 23 February 2011 in the Capital Museum. Joining over 500 young people from China and the EU, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao opened the official website of the EUYY. The video speech of President of the European Union Barroso was played at the opening ceremony. 国务院总理温家宝于2011年2月23日下午来到首都博物馆，同500多名中欧青年代表和欧盟国家驻华使节一起，出席“中欧青年交流年”开幕式。温家宝启动“中欧青年交流年”官方网站，并发表讲话。开幕式上同时播放了欧盟主席巴罗佐就青年年开幕式演讲的视频。
