Ambassadors Anita and Gary Maltbia hosted an event for the Kauffman Center on June 30, 2007, featuring Jane Chu president and CEO.
It was held at the Frazier Gallery at 3120 Troost and provided a sneak peek of Kauffman Center planning...

...music by the Kansas City Youth Jazz Band, directed by Leon Brady...
and singing as well.
There was also terrific food.
The entire Maltbia family participated.
Anita's son Tarik served as bartender.
